About Us
The AGEFLOR - Association of Forestry Companies of Rio Grande do Sul - founded on September, 22nd 1970 is a not-for-profit private partnership of unlimited duration established under civil law.
Goals
To bring togheter and represent the companies whose purpose is the production, industrialization and commercialization of forestry-based products, basically the ones deriving from planted forests, seeking to take into account the social, environmental, economic and techonogical aspects.

Scope
The members of AGEFLOR are companies that operate in different segments of the forestry-based production chain in Rio Grande do Sul, among which we higlight:
- forestation and reforestation;
- sawn wood for the civil construction industry, furniture industry, etc;
- production of wood-based panels (including MDF), plywood, particleboard, laminates and sliced wood;
- cellulose and paper;
- furniture;
- resins (pitch and turpentine);
- tannin;
- treat poles;
- wood chips for the produtcion of cellulose;
- forest seedlings;
- energy (firewood and coal);
- machinery and equipment;
- inputs and chemical products.
